Who I am

My work begins with an idea developed by hand — and a question of how it can evolve.

Years ago, I created this ring as a handcrafted piece in my own workshop. While I value traditional making, I quickly lose interest in repetition. I’m not drawn to producing the same object again and again. Instead, I’m interested in solutions: in systems and techniques that allow ideas to grow, shift, and adapt.

Alongside running my own practice, I work as a freelance jewelry designer for international brands, including Banana Republic. This has deeply shaped the way I think about design — combining experimentation with clarity, and artistic intention with functional production.

During a three-month work trip through India, I focused on refining a process that allows pieces to be produced on a larger scale while remaining individual. By placing quartz crystals within the form, the flow of the metal is interrupted and guided rather than controlled. Surfaces, edges and subtle distortions emerge organically, making each piece unique by nature.

I’m deeply drawn to surfaces, material behavior, and technique-driven solutions. My work lives in the space between rawness and refinement — where jewelry becomes a wearable object, shaped by movement, process, and a moment that doesn’t repeat.
